Is there a difference between a Christian college and a Bible college?

Is there a distinction in between a Christian college and a Bible college, or are they just distinct names for the very same factor?

Usually there’s a difference, yes. Most (all?) Bible colleges focus entirely on theology – the study of the Bible. Christian colleges, on the other hand, tend to be a lot broader. You can major in theology, if you want to, but you could also major in business, or education, or English, or theater, or engineering… Their mission is broader. Yes, religion is still important, and a part of daily life at a Christian college, but they’re a full college, offering tons of majors.
