What is the Bible verse that says each person is responsible for his own sins?

I came across a Bible verse mentioned around here a few times, that said something like each person is responsible for their own actions and sins and good deeds.

Now that i’m looking for it, I dont see it anywhere! Can anyone provide me with the verse?

Thanks!

I think the one you are looking for is in the Law and has to do with fathers not being responsible for their sons sins. However the whole Bible says that we are responsible for our own sins. “For each man shall give account of himself before God.

Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.

Ezekiel 18:20 is specific that sins do not come from our fathers, but each will receive what they deserve.

Hum, not there as you state, actually.

You might study Mark, the Gospel.

    Deuteronomy 24:16
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

    Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Peace be unto you, and the blessings of Allah.
